The Unitree GD01 is the world's first mass-produced manned mech suit. A 500 kg rideable robot that transforms between bipedal walking and quadruped stance for rough terrain. CEO Wang Xingxing unveiled it on May 12, 2026, piloting the unit himself during the demo. Pricing starts at RMB 3.9 million (~$537,000 USD), with top configurations reaching $650,000. Initial availability is China-only while Unitree completes its Shanghai STAR Market IPO (estimated $610M raise).
